"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
— Jeremiah 29:11

Senior year is a strange mix of excited and terrified, you're closing one chapter and you don't quite know what the next one looks like yet. I think that's exactly what these photos should capture, not just what you look like right now, but a little bit of who you are at this exact point in your life.

I usually recommend booking sometime in the spring or summer before senior year actually starts. That gives us first pick of good weather, and it means your photos are ready in plenty of time for yearbook deadlines, grad announcements, or just having them ready to post whenever you want.
Outfits and locations are where I really want your personality to show up. If you're into sports, let's shoot near the field. If you'd rather be somewhere quiet with good light and minimal fuss, we can do that too. Bring a few outfit options, what you'd actually wear, not what you think looks good for a photo, and we'll figure out locations that match.

During the session, I try not to overdirect. I'll give you something to do with your hands or a spot to walk toward, but the best photos usually happen once you relax and forget I'm standing there with a camera. If you've got a good sense of humor, that always comes through, and honestly, those are my favorite galleries to deliver.
This is one of the last times you'll be photographed as a kid still living under your parents' roof, still figuring things out, still becoming whoever you're about to be. That's worth capturing well.
Reach out and let's get your senior session on the calendar!
